Refund & Returns Policy
At Resonance Book Club, we are committed to providing high-quality services and ensuring customer satisfaction. This Refund & Returns Policy explains the terms under which refunds, cancellations, and returns are handled.
Service-Based Work
Most of our services, such as editing, proofreading, layout design, translation, and publishing support, involve time, effort, and creative work. Therefore, once a project has been started, it cannot be fully refunded.
However, we aim to maintain transparency and fairness in every service we provide.
Cancellation Before Work Begins
If a client cancels a service before the work has started, a full refund may be provided after deducting any applicable transaction or administrative charges.
To request a cancellation, the client must contact us within 24 hours of confirming the service.
Partial Refund Policy
If a service has already been started and the client wishes to cancel, a partial refund may be provided based on the stage of work completed.
For example:
- If the project is in the initial stage, a partial refund may be possible.
- If the work is close to completion, refunds may not be available.
Each request will be reviewed individually to ensure fairness.
Revisions Instead of Refunds
Our goal is to ensure that clients are satisfied with the final result. Instead of refunds, we offer reasonable revisions based on the agreed service scope.
Clients are encouraged to review the work and request corrections or improvements where necessary.
Returns for Physical Products
If printed books, proof copies, or other physical materials are delivered in a damaged condition, the client may request a replacement.
To request a return or replacement:
- The issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- Clear photos of the damaged product must be provided.
Once verified, we will arrange a replacement as soon as possible.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds may not be provided in the following cases:
- If the work has already been completed
- If the client changes their mind after the project has started
- If the client fails to provide the required materials or information
- If the delay is caused by the client
Processing Time for Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 5–10 business days. The amount will be returned using the original payment method whenever possible.
